My background includes a B.S. degree from SDSU with certifications as a Certified Travel Counselor and Master Cruise Counselor.  I am also a member of the American Society of Travel Agents.  I purchased Village Travel in November 1989.  I have traveled to all 50 states and about 20 countries and lived in Minnesota, Missouri and South Dakota. Travel is the most dynamic industry there is today and it is great to be a part of it.  Helping fulfill people's dreams is a part of our life.

I have over 20 years of experience with a tour operator and more recently with a full service travel agency.   My travels have taken me to Cuba (pre-revolution); Mexico--Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan:  Florida--Orlando and Miami;  Branson, MO.;  Las Vegas, NV.; Anchorage, AK; as well as states on the East and West Coasts and those here in the Upper Midwest. We started together in November of 1979 working for my mother. I started as a frontline agent learning to handwrite tickets and Becky was our bookkeeper. We purchased the agency from my mother in 1990 and have worked together ever since. I have more international experience and have traveled to Australia, Middle East and Europe as well as various domestic destinations. I handle all the international travel, corporate travel negotiations as well as specialty travel such as golf and other adventure travel. Becky is our Mexico and honeymoon expert and has been to many of the major Mexican destinations more than once. She is also a Disney expert and is currently working on her Disney Specialist certification. We both have taken our share of cruises and still feel that dollar for dollar cruises are a great value to see multiple locations with luxury and ease.
