I joined 160 travel professionals on a familiarization (FAM) trip hosted by MLT Vacations April 23, 2004 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. On arrival we split into four groups and stayed at four different all-inclusive hotels. We were able to tour 17 of the 20 hotels offered by MLT Vacations. We also experienced the local culture, food and entertainment.

If you want to experience "Old Mexico," Puerto Vallarta is the place for you. This once tiny fishing village is one of Mexico's best kept secrets, located on the Pacific side of Mexico. Puerto Vallarta has something to satisfy everyone's needs. You can find every kind of activity here, from water sports, beach activities, golf, tennis, deep sea fishing and flying through the jungle on a tree top canopy tour. My favorite of course was the opportunity to swim with the dolphins. If these activities aren't in your interests there is plenty of shopping, great restaurants, day/nightly entertainment or you can just relax on the beautiful beaches. After all of this there is no better way to end the trip then to take in an authentic Mexican Fiesta
