Welcome to our cruise through the Panama Canal April 13-25, 1999 where CWT Agents from across the country attend a Seminar at Sea aboard Crystal Cruise's Harmony. The cruise departed Acapulco, Mexico on April 13th and ended in Ft Lauderdale on April 25th. This is a wonderful cruise and on-board guides told the epic story of the Panama Canal during the one day crossing from the Pacific to the Atlantic Oceans.

| San Blas Island, home of the Kuna Indians. The island is flat and about 5 feet above sea level. This is a Matriarchal society. The form of money is the Coconut. This is very much a communal society. The islanders are small, about 5 feet high. We saw school children. There is electricity (television) but no plumbing or fuel. Many of the islanders came out in canoes begging for money which they would dive after as it was tossed from the decks. | |
